Route 29 car accident kills one teen, injures two othersDate Posted: 2009-11-05 A 15-year-old passenger died at the scene, and two other teens suffered spinal injuries. Police say the driver was drunk. A fourth boy in the car escaped uninjured. Police say the four boys had been driving around Naha City together and were on their way home when the accident occurred at 3:34 a.m. Police add that the car was totally demolished. The Okinawa Prefecture PTA Union Chairman called it “a sad accident.” Mamoru Ota asked “why were these boys out after midnight or early in the morning.
