Fire Squad leads reggae at Salt & Pepper show

It’s an evening of reggae favorites, but also one of smooth sounds of hip hop and R & B as Salt & Pepper fires up a special show Saturday featuring Fire Squad, DJ Taichilaw and DJ Synpayush.

Billed as the Big Up Dance Hall, Salt & Pepper Live House at the Carnival Park ferris wheel building in American Village is promising an evening catering to all genres and aspects of entertainment for everyone on Okinawa to enjoy. Salt & Pepper managers say the focus “is to give Okinawan and American communities a chance and place to come together and enjoy great music in accordance with the Salt & Pepper spirit.”

Doors open Saturday at 11 p.m. Admission for men is ¥1,500, while ladies enter for free before 1 a.m. butt pay ¥1,000 after that Show information is available at www.myspace.com/firesquadokinawa.
