MOFA, Marine Corps to hold cultural awareness seminar FridayDate Posted: 2009-01-15 The seminar sponsored by Marine Corps Bases Japan and the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Liaison Office is an initiate of the Cooperative Working Team comprised of representatives of the Japanese government, local government leaders, officials from the U.S. State Department and representatives of all U.S. military services on the island. The seminar is open to marines. A karate Master and his pupils will demonstrate karate techniques to the attendees, then conduct a hands-on class.
