Erin Powers is this week’s winner of a Y5,000 gift card to Esthetiq Salon Come Across. She from Truth of Consequences, NM, and has lived on Okinawa eleven months. She says that she finds Okinawa hot, “But it is beautiful and people here are amazing.” She says that her most memorable moment on the island was when her husband “was screaming like a little girl” when they were riding on the Ferris wheel in Mihama. “My family has had a lot of fun at the American Village in Mihama,” she confeses.

Rie Bolt won a \3,000 discount ticket to Kupu Kupu Spa in this week’s raffle. Born and raised on Okinawa she has lived here all her life. She says she likes Okinawa as it has plenty of good beaches, her favorites being up north, but admits that “I would really like to go to a place where they have four seasons, and where I could see snow just for the experience.” After winning she says that she wants to “shout out to my best friends Seika, Kanae and Mai, and to my family.”
