Jennie Para from San Diego, California, won a personalized bottle of awamori from Okinawa Market in Foster Services Mall. She has been on Okinawa eight months. She says that her life on the island has been better than what she expected, and adds that she especially likes the beaches, beautiful scenery, food, meeting new friends and the local atmosphere in general. She swears that the best restaurant she has ever been anywhere is the Rose Garden in Rycom. “For me, Okinawa is an undiscovered paradise where I would love to live forever,” she confesses.

Gregory Hartman is this week’s winner of a \3,000 discount ticket to Kupu Kupu Spa. He came to Okinawa only three and half months ago, but says he has already discovered the new culture here, which he enjoys exploring with his wife Pamela. “Okinawa makes me want to live to 120 years old, just like local Okinawans. The healthy and stress-free lifestyle here rocks!” he states. He says that he especially enjoys soba and sushi and living anywhere near water in general.
