Japan Update Weekly Winners - 2008/10/30

Kristy Phaire is from Nashiville, TN, and she was the lucky winner of a set of five bottles of Okinawan Goya Beer, micro brewed by Nanto Shuzo. She has been on Okinawa two and half years. Her favorite pastime includes hanging out with friends, singing karaoke and especially spending time on island’s beautiful beaches. “I met my husband on Okinawa, and also made some of my best friends here, so I can say that Okinawa definitely changed my life,” she says.

Laura Capps from North Carolina has been Okinawa only three months. In this week’s raffle she won a \3,000 discount ticket to Kupu Kupu Spa. “Okinawa is absolutely beautiful,” she states, “but the best place that I have visited so far is the Aquarium in the north.” She also appreciates that moving to Okinawa has allowed her “to be a stay-at-home mom, and spend more time with my family.”
