Robber beats victim, then escapes empty handedDate Posted: 2008-05-08 “The robber wore a helmet, so I couldn’t see his face,” the victim told police. The thief demanded “give me money,” the home owner said, “but I told him no, I won’t,” at which point the robber struck him in the face with his fist. The victim escaped to a neighbor’s house, where the neighbor called police. Officers from Yonabaru Police Station arrived quickly, but a search of the neighborhood didn’t turn up any leads.
