Paddy Mac's only pub to offer Murphy's Irish Stout on Okinawa

Paddy Mac’s, located in the center of Park Avenue ( running parallel with gate 2 street) is the only pub to offer Murphy’s Irish Stout on Okinawa. To welcome in the new year, Paddy Mac’s opened it’s doors on Dec. 31, 2001. Since it’s opening it has become a very popular hang-out of the military community. Offering a modern Irish bar atmosphere, Paddy Mac’s is a place to go if you are looking for some fun or just want to try the unique draft beer while playing a game of darts.

Paddy Mac’s has a good selection of foreign draft beer to include: Guiness, Kilkenny, Murphy’s Irish Stout and Bass pale ale costing 850 yen a pint and Sapporo costing 500 yen a pint. They also boast an original food menu to include an Irish stew (stew cooked with Guiness) 800 yen, shepard’s pie (cottage pie or mash potatoes covered with cheese) 700 yen, fish / chips 700 yen, chicken / chips 600 yen, three-way chili ( home made potatoes covered with chili and cheese) 700 yen and chips ( home made potatoe’s) 500 yen. This is a full service pub and offers mixed drinks and cocktails costing around 600 yen.

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Paddy Mac’s is hosting a weekend of festivities. March 15th, $50 or 6000 yen, all you can eat and drink, Sapporo while listening to the tunes of the Dave Ross band from 8pm-11pm. March 16th, $50 or 6000 yen, four pints of Guiness and all you can eat with prize giveaways (pints of Murphy’s only 500 yen) from 9pm-12pm. March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day, 500 yen pints of Murphy’s, corn beef and cabbage dinner.

Irish owner, Martin McIntyre invites everyone to come out and enjoy the Irish pub experience. Paddy Mac’s is open 7 days a week from 5pm-1am on weekdays and from 5pm-3am on weekends. They accept dollars( no coins please) or yen at the exchange rate of $1=100 yen.
